FRIDAY AT THE FORGE

Another Friday at the forge is in the history book. This is really unbelievable how fast the day flies, when you're having fun.
I was out of bed before 6:00 AM, washed, dressed, coffee, and a dozen Tea Biscuits in the oven before 7:00. Dropped Judy off at the Church at 8:20 and head for the shop, fired up the forge, I looked at the clock and it was noon, and then it was time to head home.
Not knowing where the time went until I got home and showed Judy what I had made, and she said that it was impressive and must have taken a long time to make. I thought, "yes, All Day". Here is the pictures.

I know it's a little rough and not exactly what I wanted, but the next one will be better. One of the toughest things of working with red hot steel, is it is VERY HOT and you can not touch it with your fingers so everything has to be done with tongs. Sort of like threading a needle using long-nose pliers.

We had a great time last night at the Legion with some of the present Square Dancers, past Square Dancers and future Square Dancers, whom want to come out to the Village Squares on the 16th. of January for the New Dancer Open House. It was like old home week, thanks to the Village Squares for inviting us to come along. A great time for Dinner and Dancing with Lauren Hall doing a good job entertaining us, all for $18.00 per person.

Cookie Club will not dance this Sunday Dec.9th. because the Church is having their Christmas Dinner, We will be back to the Cookie Club Sunday December 16th. for the last dance of 2018.
That's all for today, take care of yourself and each other and I'll see you on the Dance Floor.
